I have to say that after placing my order I began having serious concerns about whether the $300 cost savings over the next lowest price provider was too good to be true. I started researching the company and saw several sites that questioned whether they were legitimate or not, given their relatively new site. I was so relieved and happy to get exactly what I ordered as promised! Their communication was excellent throughout the process, and I would highly recommend them and will certainly reach out to them with any of my upcoming parts needs.
This review will probably help a lot of people who were in a similar situation as I was.....
I purchased the Pentair IntelliChlor IC40 Cell and also a Pentair Actuator from YourPoolShop.com. In the end, my experience with the company was excellent, although my only wish is that they had someone I could talk to on the phone. The chat function suffices, but they really need to get a phone number and real people to speak with, especially when making larger $$$$ purchases.
They are a newer company and online it was very hard to verifiy if they were legitimate or not, especially based on their amazing pricing on everything. Plus, there are mixed reviews online. It felt like I was taking a big risk.
Honestly, I was not sure if I was going to get what I paid for, so after some chatting back and forth, several days later, I finally decided to pony up the extra money for overnight shipping to lower my reservations / anxiety with having to wait multiple days for the product via regular shipping.
Very shortly after ordering, I confirmed through the live chat that they had received my expedited order and they did. I got the FEDEX tracking notifications and got my delivery the next day as promised. Both products were brand new, packaged properly, and worked perfectly after installation - see pic of both the salt cell and actuator installed. I also saved around $300 in the process compared to buying elsewhere for the same two products, even with spending the extra money on overnight shipping.
I still have other replacement parts that I need to buy and will definitely be going back to YourPoolShop.com to make those purchases when the time comes, especially after confirming in this first experience that these guys mean business. But seriously, please take my advice and man up a phone. It will make it much easier for other people to buy from you.
